Coach Mark Ianni, pickleball teaching professional at Dink & Dine Pickle Park

Coach Mark

Pickleball Teaching Professional

A native Ohioan who learned the game 12 years ago, Mark comes with extensive experience in pickleball, whether it’s playing recreationally or competitively, coaching, or just watching for the fun of it. He enjoys the competitive nature of pickleball and the robust amount of exercise that comes with it.

As an avid sports enthusiast, Mark’s first love is basketball, which he played and coached for many years back in the Midwest. He quickly realized how smoothly basketball transitions into pickleball, where communication, athletic stance, and hand and foot speed are essential components of both sports. “Assuming an athletic posture,” “on your toes,” and “can’t is a bad four-letter word” are mantras Mark lives by and coaches incessantly.

Now living in the Phoenix Valley, Mark brings a can-do, enthusiastic attitude that’s focused on serving others, and he will deliver high-level service to any pickleball clinic, private or otherwise. He looks forward to working with each and every one of you soon.

Partnered with Obsessed Pickleballers as their lead coach, Mark has taught at the Pickle Guild and the Picklr, and now teaches at Dink & Dine, offering private and group lessons.
